About amorettam

I carry within me the rich, flowing histories of the Yorta Yorta and Indian peoples.

I write this from my home in the Goulburn Valley, where the red river gums stand as silent witnesses to generations.

For over twelve years, my professional life has been dedicated to health—first in clinical settings, then in research, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Yet, the most profound lessons in wellness came not from textbooks, but from Elders and knowledge holders here and across the seas.

They taught me that true health is a sacred circle, connecting physical vitality, cultural strength, and emotional peace.

The foundation of my life shifted with two seismic losses: my mother and my son. In the hollowed-out silence that followed, I found myself searching for a way to keep their spirits close, to weave their essence into the fabric of my waking days. From that need, amorettam was born.

The name itself is a memorial, a tender fusion of their names—a word I can speak daily, a vessel for their love. It became my act of remembrance, a promise to honour them through creation, not just grief.

There was a second reason, born from my years in health. I saw the confusion and clutter in the world of skincare—the endless serums, the promises in tiny bottles, the complex routines that felt disconnected from a holistic life.

I believed there had to be another way. A way that respected the skin as the organ it is, part of that sacred circle of well-being. I wanted a minimalistic approach, where less truly could be more. Where great results didn’t require a cabinet full of potions, but a few, thoughtful, potent creations.

So, I began to blend these paths—the deep, holistic wisdom of my heritage with the rigorous evidence of my public health training.

amorettam is that blend. It is the love for my mother and my son, transformed into care for others. It is the belief that skincare should be a simple, nurturing ritual, a moment of connection to oneself that echoes the connection to community and country.

A return to essence. A way to heal, honour, and nurture, one gentle application at a time.

This is my story—a story of loss, love, and the quiet power of returning to what truly matters. It is the story I continue to live, here in the heart of country Victoria.

amorettam’s logo has been designed by Victorian contemporary Artist, Luke Tieri Owner/Director of Bayadherra. It represents grandmother, mother and son and an endless love symbolised by the circle formations.
