amorettam’s journey has had an amazing year of transformation, filled with opportunities, growth, and its fair share of challenges. The year began with an invitation to join a business accelerator, a program that armed me with new tools and plenty of homework—yet invaluable lessons that sharpened my focus and resolve.
We were honoured to be invited to new events and again, to corporate gatherings where we had the privilege of showcasing our beautiful products. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities to connect with new audiences and partners.
A mid-year break in Europe offered a moment to pause, reflect, and reset. Returning home with a refreshed mindset, I leaned into seeking guidance and asking for help. The most significant work, though, happened when I returned to the drawing board. Running a small business demands attention across marketing, branding, and product imagery that resonates with our grounding in healing and the beauty of nature and botanical extracts.
It also requires relentless marketing efforts. So I doubled down on social media engagement, ensuring our story and values reach those who will benefit from them. Product and brand development followed suit. We created a new face mask that we’re incredibly proud of and began reinvigorating our luxurious bath salts for the year ahead. I’m also excited about an additional product on the horizon—a signature scent that I’ve just started refining, certain it will be extraordinary.
To end the year on a heart-centred note, I chose to name my skincare line in memory of two people who shaped me profoundly: my beautiful son and my beloved mother. Their presence continues to guide and inspire every decision I make.
My mother taught me the power of care—the gentle hands, the warm heart, and the belief that tending to yourself is a form of strength. Her wisdom lives in every product, every intention, and every moment of comfort we hope to bring to others. My son—bright, courageous, and full of light—taught me that beauty is more than appearance; it is resilience, softness, and the grace to keep going. He inspires the essence of this business: nurturing, honesty, and love.
Together, they are the heart behind the name. Every jar, every bottle, every small offering is a piece of them—a reminder that even through loss we can build something meaningful. This brand stands as a testament to their spirit, honouring their lives through care, healing, and the gentle rituals that help us feel whole. This is more than skincare. It is legacy, love, and remembrance—shared with you, from my family to yours.
