As the sun dips a little lower and the nights draw in, those of us basking (or not!) in the Southern Australian autumn are reminded to adjust our routines. It’s time to trade in light, airy layers for something a little more substantial, both in our wardrobes and our skincare.
And at amorettam, we believe the key to thriving in this transition lies in harnessing the potent power of native Australian botanicals.
Our philosophy revolves around sourcing the purest, most effective extracts directly from our incredible native flora. We’re passionate about showcasing the unique benefits these plants offer, and ensuring their quality through rigorous testing and certification.
Take our beloved Face Bloom, for example. Infused with the luxurious Australian Rose Mahogany, native to the lush hinterland of New South Wales, alongside nourishing Macadamia Oil and Vitamin E, it’s a testament to the incredible potential held within our own backyard.
Each extract we use comes with a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis, and we meticulously evaluate its benefits across a spectrum of uses. From repairing the skin’s delicate barrier and enhancing its natural luminosity to conditioning, reducing scarring, providing anti-inflammatory properties, and firming – the possibilities are truly endless.
I often reflect on the years I spent unaware of the healing power held within these native plants. My late son, throughout his adulthood, struggled with psoriasis. If he were here today, the greatest joy would be to have him by my side, experiencing the soothing and restorative properties of the products I’ve developed in his honour.
And speaking of personal experiences, we recently received some incredible feedback from a customer that truly highlights the transformative potential of our Face Bloom:
“For over 12 months, I have been dealing with a severely cracked heel on my right foot. I have tried every pharmaceutical product available, and the pain has been quite intense. Then last week, after applying my Face Bloom, I had some excess in the dropper, so I decided to use it on my heel. I’ve been applying it day and night, and I’ve noticed significant improvement. The lines and cracks have nearly disappeared. I really wish I had taken a photo!”
This heartwarming story is a testament to the power of nature’s healing touch.
Beyond individual results, Amorettam is committed to furthering our knowledge and understanding of native plant properties. We were recently honoured to be invited to the “Applying Native Plant Traditional Knowledge” workshop on May 14th, held on the beautiful Bunurong Country at Clayton CSIRO, Melbourne.
This was an invaluable opportunity to engage with CSIRO’s cutting-edge research and explore potential collaborations to further investigate the biological properties that contribute to the therapeutic effects of these incredible plants. A particular highlight was connecting with the numerous First Nation businesses thriving in the native food and botanical sector.
As we move deeper into autumn, remember to embrace the change, layer up your skincare routine, and consider the remarkable benefits offered by native Australian botanicals. At amorettam, we’re dedicated to unlocking their potential and sharing the power of nature with you.
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments!
